Betty Jo Davis Potter age 86 of Maryville passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Cold Springs Missionary Baptist Church. Betty Jo was an avid quilter, gardener, and Lady Vol fan. Preceded in death by: Parents, Samuel & Ida Davis; Brother, Ellis Davis; Brother-in-law, Carrol Matthews. Survivors include: Husband of 65 years, Charles Potter; Children, Judy Stephens, Ricky & LaRain Potter, Sharon Carver, and Tami Potter; Grandchildren, Logan & Cassie Stephens, Lucas & Holly Stephens, Lauren & Mark Fugate, Darrick Potter, Eric & Renee Potter, Taylor & Tony Proffitt, Brooke Carver, Amber & Bryan Perdue; Great-Grandchildren, John, Emma, Lea, Benjamin, & Fox Stephens, Jackson & Ellie Fugate, Lakyn & Waylon Proffitt, Mason Potter, Gabe Woolwine, Jackson Levi Daniels; Brothers & Sisters-in-law, Leon & Margaretta Davis, John & Betty Davis; Sisters, Mary Matthews, Nancy Smith & husband Joe, and Beverly Trundle.
