Betty June Stinnett Boling Pettie, age 83 of Maryville passed away Sunday, September 23, 2012. Betty was born in Maryville on May 3, 1929. She was a member of Maryville Church of Christ since she was a young girl. Betty married Clarence Boling in November 1946, then in March 1990 she married Randall Pettie. She cleaned houses when she was five years old during the depression. After raising her children, she took LPN training and worked at Blount Memorial Hospital where she retired after 21 years of service. She enjoyed working in her yard and flowers and was devoted to caring and sharing with her family. Her special love was her dog "Brady." She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Betty loved the Lord Jesus Christ and passed that love on to her children. Preceded in death by: Parents, Herman & Mozelle Stinnett; Husbands, Clarence Boling and Randall Isaiah Pettie; Sister, Kathryn Stinnett; Grandson, Donald Craig LeQuire. Survivors include: Daughters, Carol A. Teague and Sharon M. Stinson (Randall) all of Maryville; Sons, Robert L. Boling (Gwen) of Cleveland, TN and Larry A. "Bo" Boling (Lois) of Knoxville; Brothers, Melvin Stinnett (Frances) of Oklahoma City, OK and William C. Stinnett (Claire) of Steilacoom, WA; Grandchildren, Jennifer Walters, Rusty Boling, Allison Boling, Josh LeQuire, Brandy Dossett, and Richard Evans; Great-Grandchildren, Christopher, Demi, Brittany, Kylie, Marissa, Trevor, Dylan, Elliott, Reid. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Steve Riley officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at Grandview Cemetery.
