Betty R. Morabito

Betty Reese Davis Morabito, 80, of Maryville, TN died Monday, April 20, 2015. She was born to the late Tip and Frankie Davis. Betty attended Carson Newman College and the University of Tennessee before relocating to Boston where she met her late husband John F. Morabito. Their love of family, friends and music bonded them for life. Betty & John were married in Maryville, TN and lived together in Reading, MA. Betty was passionate about life and was never hesitant to share her opinions. Betty was an active member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church where she sang in the choir. Betty is survived by two children, Jenny Lou Hanmer and Fredrick Reese Morabito both of MA. She is also survived by six grandchildren. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Greg Long officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 2:45 PM, Saturday, April 25, 2015 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
