Betty Jean Keith

Betty Jean Hoskins Keith, our dear Mother, Wife, Sister, and friend, Betty Jean Keith of Alcoa, age 74, went to her Heavenly home on Tuesday, November 22. She was a long time member of Madison Avenue Baptist Church. Betty was a dedicated volunteer at Blount Memorial Hospital for 14 years. She was also a member of the Alcoa Citizens Academy. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren Emily, Macey and Jude. She was preceded in death by her mother, Eva Hoskins; father, Elisha Hoskins; and sister Mary Scruggs. Survivors include: husband of 53 years, Loyd Keith of Alcoa; son, David Keith of Nashville; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Robby Baker of Gallatin; son, Larry Keith of Alcoa; daughter and son-in-law, Stacey and Matt Harbin of Maryville; grandchildren, Jason Keith, Emily Grace Baker, Macey Elizabeth and Jude Matthew Harbin; sister, Shirley Walker; and many special friends and neighbors. Funeral service will be at 5:00 PM, Friday, November 25, 2011 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Glen Cummings & Rev. Glen Grubb officiating. Interment will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, November 26, 2011 at Grandview Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 3:00 until 5:00 PM, Friday, November 25, 2011 at Smith Trinity Chapel.
