Betty Ann Roberts Head, age 94 of Maryville, TN passed away September 9, 2023. She was born on July 2, 1929 in Madisonville, TN. She was a member of the Six Mile Baptist Church in Maryville, TN. Preceded in death by her husband, James Lester Head; parents, Horace and Alice Roberts; siblings, Norma Jean Roberts, Thomas Roberts, Harry Roberts, and Helen Roberts. Survived by sons, James Allen Head and David Michael Head; grandchildren, Joseph Allen Head, Michael Scott Head and Damona Head Samson; great-grandchildren, Laura Poirier, Tatianna Valderrama Valloti, Trinity Valderrama, Laylynn Samson and Karrionna Samson; sisters-in-law, Lorene Head Watson and her daughter, Cathy Watson Harris, Jessie Roberts and her daughters, Beth Roberts and Amy Roberts Gerlach; niece, Betty Pennington Norton and her children, Julia Norton Courtney and George Clyde Norton. Family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Smith Trinity Chapel. The Funeral Service will be at 12:00 PM with Pastor Charles Muriel officiating.
