Betty S. Green

Betty Sexton Green age 86 of Louisville passed away Tuesday, May 22, 2007 at Colonial Hills Health Care Center. She was a member of Midway Baptist Church in Louisville since 1947 and has been a child of God since age 12 . She was a faithful wife, devoted mother and grandmother. Preceded in death by: Parents, L.S. & Myrtle Sexton; Brother and Sister-in-law, James & Vola Sexton; Sister, Jean & husband Ross Dykes; Son-in-law, W.C. Holsonback Jr. Survivors include: Husband of 67 years, Cecil Green; Son and Daughter-in-law, Bill & Carol Green of Stockbridge, GA; Daughter, Florence Holsonback of Maryville; Grandchildren, Greg Green & wife Tammy of Stockbridge, GA, Debbie Waldrop & husband Bill of Columbia, SC, Larry Holsonback & wife Jo of Maryville, Renee Davis & husband Keith of Maryville; Great-Grandchildren, Ashley Green, Bill Waldrop IV, Aaron Green, Madyson Waldrop, Carson Waldrop, Brianna Holsonback and Catharine Holsonback, Landon Davis, and Elijah Davis; Brother, Joe Sexton & wife Margaret of Maryville; Sisters, Frances Sauls & husband Ray of Maryville and Virgie Lee Lones of Maryville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM, Friday, May 25, 2007 at Smith Mortuary with Rev. Trent McKinnon and Rev. Joe Cantrell officiating. Interment will follow at Middlesettlements Cemetery.
