Betty Clark Byrd

Byrd, Betty Clark age 91 of Rockford, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2006 at Baptist Hospital. She was retired from Anderson Lumber Company where she worked for 28 years. She was a long-time member of the Maryville Church of Christ. She left a legacy of faithfulness, commitment to her family, love for her spiritual family and will be greatly missed and forever remembered. She was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, William Herbert Byrd, Sr.; infant daughter, Sylvia Ann Byrd; parents, Robert Thomas & Wilburn Clark; brother, R.T. Clark Jr. & wife, Charlene Clark. Survivors include: Son, W. Herbert Byrd Jr. & wife, Sybil A. Byrd; Grandchildren, W. Herbert Byrd III & wife Resa, Anna Christina Davenport & husband Joel, David Clark Byrd & wife Mary, Keith Alan Byrd & Robin, and Robert Daniel Byrd & wife Dana; Great-Grandchildren, Kristin Byrd, Heather Reeves & husband Jimmy, Resa Marie Byrd, Esther Davenport, Aden Byrd, Gracy Byrd; Special friends, Ann Brannon and Debbie Rasbury. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Thursday, September 28, 2006 at Maryville Church of Christ with Minister Al Behel and Minister Jim Bill McInteer officiating. Family and friends will assemble for entombment at 1:00 PM, Friday, September 29, 2006 at Sherwood Mausoleum Chapel.
