Betty Jo Buchanan

Betty Jo Pilkey Inman Buchanan, born February 14, 1940 passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at home. Betty retired after 30 years of service with UT Hospital. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of Lamplight Church. Preceded in death by: Parents, Nettie & Leonard Pilkey; Brothers, Troy Pilkey and Glen Pilkey; Sister, Mary Sue Jones; Father of her children, Stanley Inman; 2nd Husband, Dennis Buchanan. Survivors include: Sister, Anna Mae Anderson; Brothers, Roy Pilkey, Tommy Pilkey, and Eddie Pilkey & wife Brenda; Sons & Daughters-in-law, Malcolm & Betty Inman, Shan Inman, and Leonard (Porky) & Kim Inman; Daughters & Sons-in-law, Macheala & Tony Humphrey and Jeanette & David Flanagan, Grandchildren, Amy Inman, Josh (Nikki) Inman, Tyler Inman, Lee (Chelsa) Humphrey of Ukraine; Rachel (Drew) Goins, Bethany (Robert) Ridings; Amanda Inman, Philip Little, Lucky (Greg) Morton; Great-Grandchildren, Avery Inman and Sydney Morton; Step-Grandchildren, Steve & Jimmy Gooden, Brent & Bradley Flanagan; Step-Great-Grandchildren, J.J. & Chase Gooden; Sisters-in-law, Betty Estes, Brenda & Linda Martin; Brothers-in-law, Johnny Martin and Landis Inman; Step Children, Rhonda Tipton, Randy Buchanan, and Tammy, John Buchanan. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Thursday, September 19, 2013 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Interment will be at 2:30 PM, Friday, September 20, 2013 at Shady Grove Cemetery.
