Betty Gardner Buchanan

Betty Gardner Buchanan entered the gates of heaven on Thursday, July 30, 2015. She was born September 4, 1933 in Maryville, TN. She was of Baptist faith. Preceded in death by her father, Thomas Gardner and her mother, Harriett Gardner Watson, twin brother, Bill Gardner, Sisters, Kate Graham, Irene Walker, brothers, Roy Gardner, Arthur Gardner, J.T. Gardner and daughter Kay Buchanan Baumgardner. She is survived by sister Helen Cooper and brother Charles Gardner and former husband Tom Buchanan. Daughters, Teresa James, Tracy Williams and Husband David, DeeAnna Sunshine and husband Brian and son Tommy Buchanan and wife Cindy. Grandchildren-Clint James and wife Melissa, Teresa Glass and husband Tim, Ben Buchanan, Brooke Buchanan and Rossi Babb and Adam Williams and Abby Sunshine. Great grandchildren – Rossi Babb and Henley James. Special nephew Spencer Walker and the late Jan Walker. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at Grandview Cemetery. Friends and family are welcome.
