Betty Sue Allen

Betty S. (Myers) Allen age 83 of Townsend passed away Monday, April 9, 2012, at home surrounded by her family. She was a member of Caylor's Chapel Baptist Church. Betty lived a very generous Christian life. She enjoyed quilting, tending her gardens, and was an avid pet lover and caretaker of stray animals. Preceded in death by: Husband, William G. Allen; Son, V. Thomas Allen; Sister, Barbara Cable. Survivors include: Son, Charles R. Allen; Daughters, Mary Lou Minogue and Nancy Collier; and many beloved grandchildren and great grandchildren; one brother, Ed and one sister, Maryann. Also, her special caregiver Hope Walker and good friends Casper and Pup-Pup. The family will receive friends from 5:30 until 7:30 PM, Thursday, April 12, 2012, at Smith Trinity Chapel. Family and friends will assemble for graveside service and interment at 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 14, 2012, at Caylor's Chapel Church Cemetery in Townsend.
