Betty Deloris Alexander

Betty Deloris Alexander, age 72 of Friendsville, passed away Friday, November 25, 2022 at Blount Memorial Hospital.  Deloris was a very talented hair designer in the community for many years, attended Rocky Branch Missionary Baptist Church, and was a member of the TOPS club.  She enjoyed scrapbooking, decorating, travelling, and going on vacation cruises.  Deloris was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.  She was the daughter of the late Robert and Dorothy Potter.  She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Dave Alexander; daughters and son-in-law, Lara Vananda of Maryville and Courtney and Shannon Icenhower of Walland;  granddaughter, Olivia Icenhower; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie and Cathy Potter of Maryville; sisters and brother-in-law, Bobbie and Bob Tipton of Maryville and Pam Ford of Knoxville;  special friends, Jimmy and Jo Dean Seal;  Friends may pay their respects on Monday, November 28, 2022 from 1:00 until 3:00 PM in the Smith Trinity Chapel.  A private family service will be held.  In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Rocky Branch Missionary Baptist Church at 4620 Cambridge Rd, Walland, TN 37886.  Condolences and memories may be shared through Smith Funeral & Cremation Service, Maryville, 865-983-1000, www.SmithFuneralandCremation.com
