Bette Jane Brady

Bette Jane Brady age 78 of Maryville, TN passed away at Shannondale Healthcare Center on Friday October 7th 2022 after a long battle with dementia. She was born in Dearborn Michigan on March 15th 1944 the daughter of Elmer and Helen Kreiser. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Larry, daughter Laura and husband David Belcher, son Jason Brady and wife Shannon, daughter Jennifer and husband Brent Musick, granddaughters Lindsay Brady, Bradynn Belcher, Lily Musick, and grandson Carter Brady. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Gerald and Alan Kreiser. Bette was raised in Ft. Lauderdale Fl., having moved there with her family at a young age. She graduated from Pinehurst Academy in Ft. Lauderdale, and then attended The University of North Carolina where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy. She moved with her family to Maryville in 1978. She worked as a therapist at several healthcare facilities in both Blount and Knox counties, including Asbury Place and National Health Care. She was a long-time member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and always put their concerns above anything else. She loved to play golf and enjoyed playing with her husband and friends at Green Meadow Country Club. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. A special thanks from the family to the skilled nursing staff at Shannondale for their expert and loving care of her. The family and friends will have the Funeral Mass Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Our Lady of Fatima starting at 11:00 am with the Entombment to follow at Grandview Cemetery at 12:00 pm. Following the Entombment, the family will receive friends at the Smith Hampton Hall.
