Benny Hunt age 55 of Maryville passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2008 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. He was a member of Broadway Baptist Church. Preceded in death by: Parents, Rev. Ben K. & Mary Hunt; Brother, Carson Hunt. Survivors include: Wife, Mary Eva Hunt; Son & Daughter-in-law, Carson & Amanda Hunt of Maryville; daughters, Emily Hunt and Molly Hunt both of Maryville; grandson, Blake Hunt; brothers & sisters-in-law, Elder Harold & Doris Hunt of Maryville, Elder Dale & Bertha Hunt of Walland; sister & brother-in-law, Martha & Mike Mitchell of Nashville; special nieces & nephews. The family & friends will assemble for graveside service & interment 10:00 a.m. Friday, November 21, 2008 at Sherwood Memorial Gardens with Elder Harold Hunt & Elder Dale Hunt officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to: The Broadway Baptist Mission Fund. The family will receive friends 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Friday at Broadway Baptist Church.
