BENITA ELIZABETH TAYLOR born May 8, 1941 of Maryville, TN passed away

Sunday, July 23, 2023 peacefully at home. Benita enjoyed gardening and listening to southern gospel music. She is preceded in death by: Parents, Joe and Victoria Borden; Husband and love of her life of 52 years, Robert "Bob" Taylor; & her ten siblings. Survivors include: Children, Vicky Miles & Tom Forrester, Dale & Kathy Taylor, Susan Taylor & Carl Sholtz, David & Regina Taylor; Grandchildren, Chris (Angie) Miles, Jason (Mintha) Miles, Rob Taylor (Cameryn), Chelsey Taylor, Tori Cassell (Kenny), Heather Poster (Tony), Megan Herrera (Ed), Madeline Taylor; Six Great-Grandchildren; Brother & Sister-in-law, Gary & Barbara Taylor; special nieces and nephews, Larry & Nancy Brown, Garry & Shirley King. Special thanks to UT Hospice for taking care of Benita in her last months. Thank you to her nurses Carrisa, Angel, and Markeya for the special care you gave Benita. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Wednesday, July 26, 2023 at Smith Trinity Chapel. The Funeral Service will follow at 7:00 PM with Rev. Garry King officiating.
