Becky Ruth Pirtle

Becky Ruth Pirtle, age 65, of Maryville, TN, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2015, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center, Knoxville. Working at TVA for 30 years both in Knoxville and at Watts Bar, she completed her career in the TVA Inspector General's office. Survivors include sister Betty P. Neal of Maryville, TN; nephew Tracy L. Neal of Cullman, AL; nieces Rebecca A. Cooper of Nashville, TN and Sarah Reed Neal of Portland, OR. Preceded in death by parents Herbert Reed and Eula Grooms Pirtle; grandparents Oscar and Rebecca Kerley Grooms; grandparents S. D., Sr. and Susan Allison Pirtle. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Dream Connection, Inc., P. O. Box 10924, Knoxville, TN 37939. Dream Connection is a non-profit organization that fulfills the "once-in-a-lifetime dream come true" for East Tennessee children with life-threatening or chronically debilitating diseases.
