Beatrice Carroll Burns

Beatrice Carroll Burns, age 100, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017. She was preceded by her husband, Maurice O’Dell Burns; parents, James and Nora Carroll; sister, Georgia. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James and Betty Burns; daughter and son-in-law, Johnnie and Walter Wise; grandchildren, Blake Maynard, Lonnie and Rosemary Burns, Monty and Lisa Burns, Scott and Lisa Axley; and several great-grandchildren. The family wishes to give special thanks to the staff of Brookdale Browns Creek for their loving care of “Mamaw B” and to Caris Healthcare for their compassionate services. Friends may call at their convenience on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM. A funeral ceremony will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at Grandview Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Peggy Meade officiating.
