Barbara Jean Webb

Barbara Jean Webb, age 80 of Townsend, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022 at the family home.  Barbara was in business with her husband, James A. Webb Sr., operating Old Smokey Mountain Cabins for 50 plus years.  She was a member of Townsend Church of God and enjoyed gospel music and serving The Lord.  She enjoyed horseback riding, cooking, and spending time with her family.  Preceded in death by her husband, James A. Webb Sr.; parents, Joe and Rose Stinnett; brothers, Joe Stinnett, Don Stinnett, Arthur Stinnett, Kramer Stinnett, and Roger Stinnett; sisters, Gladys Farler, Phyllis Atchley, Mae Davis, and Lora Stinnett; Survivors include her Son, James A. Webb Jr. of Townsend; daughter, Kristie Lea Webb of Townsend; grandchildren, Jared Webb, James A. Webb III, Christian Mae Effler, and Darbi Brummett; The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM on Thurssday, December 29, 2022 at Rio Church of Townsend with the service to follow at 2;00 PM with Rev.
