Barbara F. Tipton

Barbara T. Tipton of Maryville, passed away Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at Asbury Place. She was a member of Piney Level Baptist Church. She was retired from Krogers after 27 years of service. She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl & Lucille French; husband, Gerald C. Tipton; brother, Howard French; sister, Anita F. Wehunt. Survivors include her son, Myron Tipton of Maryville; grandchildren, Brook, Chancey & Clay; brothers, L.C. French of Florida and Donnie Watkins; sister, Velma Hanchett of Maryville; several nieces & nephews. Funeral service 7:00 pm Saturday, March 7, 2009, Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. George Macht officiating. The family & friends will assemble at 2:00 pm Sunday, March 8, 2009 at Piney Level Baptist Church Cemetery for the interment.
