Barbara Jean Nichols Cooper

Cooper, Barbara Jean , age 68 went to be with our Lord Saturday, September 8, 2007. Originally from Tallassee, she was a resident of Sauk Village, IL for the past 47 years. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Chicago Heights, IL where she was the church pianist for many years. Preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Cooper; parents, Ernest and Ethel Nichols; sisters, Georgia Bryant and Willie Belle Nichols-Burchfield. She is survived by her loving children, son, Gary of Sauk Village, IL; daughter, Barbara DiGiulio and grandchildren, Alexandra, Damon, and Danae all of Henderson, NV; sister, Virginia Hammontree-Crye of Greenback; sister and brother-in-law, Anna and Obie Hughes of Vonore; brother, , Ed Nichols of AL; brother and sister-in-law, Ronald and Carol Nichols of Yatesville, GA; many nieces and nephews. Special friends, Shirley Cable, Pastor Ron and Judy Long, Mary Hunt, and Katie Taylor. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, September 13, 2007 at Lower Chilhowee Missionary Baptist Church in Tallassee. Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery.
