Nelle T. Connell age 89 of Maryville passed away Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by: Husband, Jack D. Connell; Parents, William Henry Thomas and Dovie Mulican Thomas; 3 brothers; 1 sister. Survivors include: Sons & Daughters-in-law, Mark & Nancy Caroline Connell of Maryville and Bill & Jodie Connell of Huntsville, AL; Daughter & Son-in-law, Kim & Doug Hill of Alcoa; Daughter-in-law, Marcia Connell of Huntsville, AL; Grandchildren, Ian & wife Hope, Kristin, Laura Beth & Brooke Connell, Brandon Rutherford, Ashley & Christina Hill, Zachary, Andrew, and Michael Connell; Special Niece, Betsy Howard Bennett & husband Scott. Funeral service will be at 8:00 PM, Thursday, July 24, 2008 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Amy Probst officiating.
