Arthur "Ken" Sunde

Arthur "Ken" Sunde, 92, of Maryville, passed away Monday, July 14, 2014 at Asbury Healthcare Center. He was a World War II Veteran and graduated from the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago. He was a missionary in Japan for 33 years with his wife Doris. After retirement Ken and Doris moved to Maryville and started the Maryville Japanese Christian Fellowship. Preceded in death by: Wife, Doris; Son, Paul; Parents, Andrew & Clara Sunde. Survivors include: Son, David; Brother, Milt Sunde; Sister, Vinna Mae Larson; Daughter-in-law, Reiko Sunde. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Friday, July 18, 2014 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Bill Dixon officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 19, 2014 at Grandview Cemetery.
