Artamae T. Callahan

Artamae T. Callahan age 88 of Seymour, formerly of Maryville, passed away Friday, March 1, 2013 at Tennova Healthcare Center. She was a member of Seymour First Baptist Church and former member of Armona Baptist Church in Alcoa. Artamae was a proud member of her Liberty Sunday School Class. Preceded in death by: Husband, John Callahan; Son, John Michael Callahan II; Parents, Lavator & Mary Jane Callahan; Grandson, Patrick Callahan; Brothers, Otto Turner and Paul Tuner; Sisters, Louise Gilbert and Bennett Gillespie; Twin Sister, Kena Gilbert. Survivors include: Daughter & Son-in-law, Mary Ann & Charlie Blankenship; Grandsons, Vince Franklin & wife Michelle and Chad Callahan; Great-Grandchildren, Katie Franklin, John Michael III, Kiersten, Conner, Payton, and Jaxon; Step-Grandchildren, Pam Blankenship and Teresa Oates. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM, Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Dr. Bruce Yates officiating. Family and friends will assemble for interment at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 4, 2013 at Grandview Cemetery.
