Archie H. Forester

Forester, Archie H. age 68 of Friendsville passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2006 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was a member of Zion's Chapel Baptist Church and a Mason with George Washington Loge #181 of Louisville. His passion was Bluegrass music. He was a Veteran of the United States Army. He also retired from ALCOA and was a member of their 25-Year Club. Preceded in death by: Parents, Joe & Effie Forester; Sister, Frances Ruth Forester. Survivors include: Wife of 44 years, Pat Forester; Son, Douglas Forester of Louisville; Grandson, Carson Forester of Louisville; Sisters and Brothers-in-law, Maxine & Mark Stonecipher of Maryville and Betty & Kenneth Baldwin of Knoxville; Uncles, Pete Forester and Fred Bowerman both of Friendsville; several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 7:30 PM, Friday, May 26, 2006 in the Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 AM, Saturday, May 27, 2006 at Middlesettlements Cemetery for the interment.
