Archie W. Bennett age 67 of Maryville went to join his family in Heaven on Friday, May 03, 2013 at Blount Memorial Hospital. Archie was a Deacon at Smoky View Baptist Church. He retired from the United States Army and Denso. Preceded in death by: Parents, James & Lois Bennett. Survivors include: Wife of 49 years, Christine Jones Bennett; Sons & Daughters-in-law, Jeff & Lorraine Bennett and Greg & Karen Bennett; Grandchildren, Zach, Nich, and Brady; Brother & Sister-in-law, Larry & Betty Bennett of Monterey, TN; Sisters & Brothers-in-law, Karen & Dustin Drake of Huntsville, AL and Peggy & Jeff Richmond of Pelham, TN. Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM, Sunday, May 5, 2013 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Dr. Mark Martin officiating. Interment will follow at Grandview Cemetery.
