Anthony Brian Sands

Anthony B. Sands, age 23 of Maryville was called home to be with Jesus on April 1, 2012 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. He was born November 29, 1988 in Maryville, the son of Vickie Darlene (Radford) Gregory and Chet Sands. He attended both Heritage High School and Seymour High School from which he graduated in 2007. Anthony was a member of the North American Hunting Club. He was an avid outdoorsman, as well as an expert marksman and archer. He was also featured on Cane Creek Calls website. Survivors include: parents, Doug & Vickie Gregory and Chet & Paige Sands; Sisters, Lindsey Tuck and Dayne Sands; Paternal grandparents, Shirley & Lowell Sands; Maternal grandparents, Susan & George Myers of Maryville; Close friend, Mike (Red) Chester; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Smithview Pavilion, 601 Smithview Drive, Maryville, TN 37803 with Rev. Kenneth Tucker officiating. Family and friends will assemble for the interment at 11:00 AM, Friday, April 6, 2012 at Grandview Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM, Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Smithview Pavilion. Please dress casual for Thursday’s events.
