Anna Belle Shamblin

Anna Belle Shamblin age 93 of Alcoa passed away Saturday, February, 23, 2013 at Parkwest Medical Center. She was a longtime member of Alcoa First Baptist Church and served in the nursery for over 20 years. Anna enjoyed spending time outside gardening and working with flowers in her yard. Preceded in death by: Husband, James Austin Shamblin; Grandson, Michael James Waggoner; Daughter-in-law, Cathy Shamblin. Survivors include: Son, Bob Shamblin of Maryville; Daughter & Son-in-law, Patricia & Carl Waggoner of Knoxville; Grandchildren, Tim Waggoner & Lynette of Ringgold, GA and David Waggoner of Knoxville, TN; Great-Grandchildren, Joshua Waggoner, Hannah Waggoner, and Sara-Ann Waggoner all of Ringgold, GA; Sister Pauleda Butler; several nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the Brakebill Nursing Home for their good care of Anna Belle the last six months. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Family and friends will assemble for entombment at 10:00 AM, Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Sherwood Mausoleum Chapel.
