Andrew Devoy Brunson

Andrew Devoy Brunson, age 50 of Knoxville, passed away Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at Tennova Physicians Regional Medical Center. He was born July 20, 1966 in Dalton, Georgia. Andy worked for his dad as Property Manager for Fountain City Business Park and Unicorn West Business Center for almost 30 years. He was very social, friendly and always wanting to help someone in need. Andy had the kindest, most caring heart and will be missed tremendously by his family, friends and all who knew him. His grandchildren were the light of his life. Preceded in death by: Grandparents, John & Dessie Scott and Lionel & Nellie Brunson; Aunt, Lynell Walraven. Survived by: Wife, Danita Brunson; Son, Drew Flanagan & wife, Emily of Carmi, Illinois; Mother & Step-Father, Jo-Ann Cable (Gene); Father, Devoy Brunson (Tammy); Grandchildren, Aiden Flanagan & Seleste Pride; Uncle & Aunt, Roy & Mechelle Brunson of Rocky Face, Georgia; Mother-In-Law, Willie Brown, Step-Daughter, Lacrisha (Denzel); Step-Brothers, Billy Cable &, Jimmy Carey; Step-Sister, Michelle Sheffield of Jacksonville, Florida; several cousins and numerous friends. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM, Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Smith Trinity Chapel. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM with Ministers Drew Flanagan and Roy Brunson officiating.
