Ancel M. Lynn

Ancel M. Lynn age 82 of Maryville, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at the family home. He was lifetime member of Maryville Church of Christ. He spent 10 years in the United States Air Force, 17 years in the National Guard working as a civilian at McGhee Tyson Air Guard. Ancel was a Veteran of the Korean War and Operation Steel Trap in Germany. He was a master wood craftsman, photographer, and traveler. Preceded in death by: Parents, Lewis & Clemmie Lynn. Survivors include: Wife of 61 years, Donnie McElwain Lynn; Son, Ronnie Lynn of Maryville; Daughter & Son-in-law, Sandy & Luther Boring of Maryville; Granddaughter, Kimberly Murphy & husband Tony; several great-grandchildren; Brother & Sister-in-law, George & Wanda Lynn of Evansville, IN; Sister & Brother-in-law, Geneva & George Fein of Dothan, AL; several nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be at 3:00 PM, Monday, July 18, 2011 at Maryville Church of Christ with Preacher Johnathan Jones and Rev. S.M. Johnson Atchley. Family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 PM, Monday, July 18, 2011 at Maryville Church of Christ, 611 Sherwood Drive, Maryville, TN 37801.
