Alma June Roberts

Alma June Roberts, age 95 of Maryville, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, March 13, 2020. She was a member of Dotson Memorial Baptist Church for 25 years and was retired as a housekeeper from Blount Memorial Hospital after many years. She enjoyed telling stories about growing up with her family in the Greenback community and cooking for her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Fred C. Roberts; parents, Walter and Mellie Brookshire; brothers, Gordon Brookshire, William “Bill” Brookshire, and Frank “Poker” Brookshire; sisters, Geneva Lane and Dorothy Long; She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Curtis and Donna Roberts of Maryville; daughter and son-in-law, Judy Lowe Roddy and Leon of Maryville; grandsons and their spouses, Greg and Tammy Lowe of Maryville, Stephen and Becca Lowe of Maryville, and Michael and Nickie Roberts of Townsend; great-grandchildren, Chelli Lowe, Cameron Lowe, Alex Lowe, Alyssa Lowe, Addison Lowe, and Adam Lowe; brother, Harvey Brookshire of Maryville; sister and brother-in-law, Sue and Mike Huffstetler of Greenback; Many nieces, nephews and other family members also survive. The family would like thank Blount Memorial Hospice for their care. THERE HAS BEEN A CHANGE IN SERVICE ARRANGEMENTS.
