Alma Bernice Sullivan McNeilly age 95, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2013 at Kindred Nursing Center/Fairpark. Preceded in death by: Parents and siblings; Husband, Doyle McNeilly; Sons, Kent & Earl Ray McNeilly; Daughters-in-law, Bessie, Flora, and Nelda; Granddaughter, Tammy Finley. Mrs. McNeilly has had a blessed life. She was a long time member at Beech Grove Baptist Church and most recently a member at Everett Hills Baptist Church. She was a life-long resident of Blount County with her roots in Walland. The family would like to thank the staff at Fairpark for the consistent and loving care that both she and the family has received over the many years that she considered it her home. We must also mention Evelyn Tucker, her roommate for all those years and with whom she has had a strong bond. She will be mourned by her surviving Sons, Don, Terry (Elizabeth), David (Billie), John, and Jimmy (Shannon) McNeilly; Daughter-in-law, Donna McNeilly and their extended families. She has eleven grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and ten great-great-grandchildren. She has a multitude of nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 7:00 PM, Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at Smith West Chapel with Rev. Jack Hitch officiating. Family and friends will assemble for the interment at 11:00 AM, Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Grandview Cemetery.
