Alma Mae Law Coulter

Alma Mae Law Coulter age 89 of Maryville passed away Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at her home. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church for over 74 years. She was a Pink Lady at Blount Memorial Hospital for 31 years and was known as the "Book Cart Lady." Preceded in death by: Husband, Edgar Coulter; Parents, Judge & Sophia Law, Sister, Juanita Law; Sister and Brother-in-law, Carmalita & Ed Turner; Brothers & Sisters-in-law, C. G. & Rozella Law, Robert (Bob) & Evelyn Law; Brother, Coll Law. Survivors include: Son & Daughter-in-law, Sam & Rita Coulter of Alcoa; Daughter & Son-in-law, Judy & Johnny Shore of Maryville; Grandchildren, Brad & wife Karin Coulter, John Shore, Jennifer & Amy Stapleton, Tracie & husband Charles Alexander; Great-Grandchildren, Judge, Colter & Weston Alexander, Ben & Holly Coulter, Jasmine Shore; Brother, Frank Law of Maryville; Brother & Sister-in-law, Keith & Ruth Law of Greenback; Sisters-in-law, Lillian Law and Sarah Coulter both of Maryville; a host of nieces and nephews. A special thanks to Blount Memorial Hospice and special caregivers, Gwen Martin, Virginia Martin, Melinda Hooks, Rosemary Ott, and Melissa Ott. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM, Saturday, August 30, 2008 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Greg Long officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
