Alice Marie Thomas

Alice Marie Thomas age 90 of Maryville passed away Monday, February 16, 2015 at Blount Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Clarks Grove Cumberland Presbyterian Church and retired from Merita Bakers after many years of service. She was a loving, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother who will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Preceded in death by: Parents, Joseph & Flora Langford; Husband, Lon Thomas; Son, Jerry Thomas; Granddaughter, Traci Thomas; Brothers, Homer & Ted Langford; Sisters, Ruby Breeden, Jane Williams, and Betty Henry. Survivors include: Son, Marty (Betty) Thomas; Daughter, Sue Amburn; Grandchildren, Tammy Thomas (Devoy Brunson), Todd (Tanya) Thomas, Jeanne Tipton; Great-Grandchildren, Alisha Hopper, Cory and Tori Irwin, Crislyn Tipton, Courtney, Russell & Seth Thomas; Great-Great-Grandchildren: Hayden Inman, Kyler Hopper, and Mason Yeaman; Brother-in-law, Ted Henry; Special Friend, Ed Wade. Funeral service will be at 2:30 PM, Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev. Steve Hickman officiating. Interment will follow at Clarks Grove Cemetery.
