Alice Long Hackworth

Alice Long Hackworth, age 97, of Maryville, passed away Friday, April 27, 2012 at Fort Sanders Regional Hospital. Mrs. Hackworth was a member of Six Mile Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday School Teacher for many years. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grand and great grandmother, and friend who will be deeply loved and missed by those who knew her. Preceded in death by her husband for over 50 years, Ellis Floyd Hackworth; 2 sisters and 1 brother. She is survived by Sons and daughters-in-law, Ulyess and Lucy Hackworth of Mesa, Arizona and Jack and Karen Hackworth. Daughters and sons-in-law, Betty and R.C. Holder and Lorene and Joe Bowers, all of Maryville. 10 Grandchildren, 19 Great Grandchildren, and 5 Great-Great Grandchildren; Several nieces and nephews; Special Friend, Dorothy Yearout; Funeral Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 30, 2012 in the Smith Trinity Chapel with Rev.
