Alfred C. Atkins, age 86 of Maryville, passed away Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the family home. Alfred was a believer of Christ and had a deep love for his family. Preceded in death by wife of 52 years, Shelby Jean Atkins; parents, Tom and Florence Atkins; son, Sterling Alfred Atkins; brothers, James Atkins, Raymond Rodgers, Reid Rogers, Roy Rodgers, Herman Atkins, Claude Atkins; sisters, Marie Garland, Irene Coulter. Survived by his children and spouses, Keith Atkins, Don and Jeniene Atkins, Dale and Allene Atkins; Eveyln and Rodney Butcher, James and Ginger Atkins; many grandchildren; sister, Lilie Poe; several nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at Smith Trinity Chapel. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor James Atkins officiating.
