Aileen Stinnett Nichols

Aileen Stinnett Nichols, age 97 of Maryville, went to be with the Lord, Friday, January 1, 2016, two weeks short of her 98th birthday. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cleve and Mattie (Murr) Stinnett; husband, John C. Nichols; sons, John C. Nichols, Jr. and Cleve Nichols. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Bob and Evelyn Nichols and Mickey and Debbie Nichols, all of Maryville; daughter-in-law, Shirley Nichols of Clinton; 11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren, and special friend and caregiver, Heather Mulkey. Family and friends will assemble 1:00pm at Grandview Mausoleum Tuesday, January 5, 2016 for a brief service led by Dr. Jerry Page. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Food Connection of Blount County, P.O. Box 786, Alcoa, TN 37701.
