Aidan Theodore McMahon-Weller passed away peacefully in his mother's arms in the early morning hours of April 2, 2020 in the NICU at East Tennessee Children's Hospital, surrounded by his loving parents and some of his favorite nurses and doctor. Although his life was tragically cut short, he touched the hearts of all who met him in his 64 days here on Earth. He is remembered fondly for his feisty, fighting spirit, his beautiful head of red hair, his large, soulful eyes, and his smiles that lit up the entire room. He loved to hold his mommies' and nurses' fingers in his tiny hands and grab any cords and tubes in his reach to swing them around. And if he did not like something, he definitely let everyone know. One thing for certain was that he loved to be held by his mommies. He always tried to do things on his own, like the fighter he was, but unfortunately, even though his mind was ready, his body just wasn't. If love could have saved him, he would be here with us today. He is survived by his mothers Amber and Kimberly McMahon-Weller; sister Jaelyn Berry; Grandma Donna Vincent; Grandpa Jimmy Weller; Nana Debra McMahon; Pop Pop Paul McMahon; uncles Matt Weller (Michelle Weller), Adam Weller (Phill Lawrence), and Billy McMahon; cousin Alex Weller; and other extended family. A memorial service to honor his life will be planned at a later date. Smith Funeral & Cremation Service, Maryville, 865-983-1000, www.SmithFuneralandCremation.com.
