Ada Clarice Templin

Ada Clarice Gentry Templin, age 94 of Alcoa, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 12, 2018. She was born November 3, 1923, the daughter of Elijah Washington Gentry and Sena Roe Gentry near Talbott in Hamblen County. She was married at Central Baptist Church in Fountain City on April 25, 1947. Ada and her husband moved to Graham, North Carolina where Ada began employment with Hooper Holmes and faithfully served them for 26 years of service. Ada’s family moved to Alcoa in 1975. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by: Husband, Charles Thurman Templin; Sisters, Ora Lee Noe, Pearl Harris, Marie Gentry; Infant Sister, Minnie Belle Gentry; Brothers, Vance E. Gentry, Elmer W. Gentry and Earl H. Gentry. Survivors include: Son, Craig T. Templin of Alcoa; Grandchildren, Adam C. Templin and Josh M. Templin.
