Ada June Caylor

Ada J. Caylor age 78 of Alcoa passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2009 at home. She was an active member of 1st Baptist Church of Maryville for over 40 years. She was active in Mission work most of her adult life, President of WMU at 1st Baptist Church, formerly very active in the Chilhowee Club and various other civic organizations and projects. Preceded in death by: Husband, Gene Caylor; Parents, Jesse and Flo Brewer; Brothers, J.E. Brewer, Clint Huffman, and Claude Huffman. Survivors include: Son & Daughter-in-law, Steve & Kathy Caylor of Dallas, TX; Daughter & Son-in-law, Regina & Jim Watson of Maryville; Son & Daughter-in-law, Jeff & Terri Caylor of Maryville; Grandchildren, Caylor & Leslie Watson, Paige Caylor, Brandi Smith & husband Rob; Great-Grandson, Titus Smith; several nieces and nephews; special niece, Sue Thompson & husband Thom; special friend, Lorene Smith. Funeral service will be at 8:00 PM, Friday, June 5, 2009 at Smith West Chapel with Rev. Gary Stinnett officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 6, 2009 at Grandview Cemetery with Rev. Charles Ballard officiating.
